In the first episode of The Witness Interview, Robert Reid talks to Patricia Cornelius, playwright, performer and thorn in the side of the patriarchy, remembering the brilliant director Eva Czajor, and discussing how gender and class has played in Australian theatre, in the ’80s and now. “It’s like women went out of fashion. ‘We’ve done that.’ But it’s interesting to be back on the agenda again.”

Ben Keene

Ben Keene is the sound engineer, editor and composer on podcasts and videos for Witness. He graduated with distinction from the RMIT Digital Media Course in 2016 and was awarded the RMIT Higher Education Award. He is currently a casual academic and completing his Honours degree at RMIT. His sound design credits include the Melbourne Theatre Company, Expressions Dance Company, TheatreWorks, Hoy Polloy, Finucane Smith and Big West Festival. He works closely with Darrin Verhagen as part of the band Shinjuku Thief (with whom he completed additional composition for the AFI award nominated soundtrack The Boys in the Trees in 2016) and as a research assistant at AkE (Audiokinetic Experiments) Lab.

Hi Janet – I’m sorry to hear this, and I’m not at home so can’t check! All the different podcasts are in the same player, so is it possible you clicked on and downloaded the wrong one?

Hi Janet, checked it on mine and its working okay. The Podcast Player automatically selects the newest podcast. Have you tried selecting the second podcast in the side bar of the player?
